“Day of Registration” opens at 9:00am at the Memorial High School parking lot on Nov. 12.
The walk begins at 10:00am at the far back, west side of the parking lot, near the stadium. It will be along the walking trail that runs behind the football stadium, then beside the tennis courts and will end at LaFortune Park Gardens.
LaFortune Park Gardens is just behind the library near the corner of 51st and Hudson Avenue.
Please do not park in the library’s parking lot.
The walk is approximately one mile long.
The Pet Fair will begin just after the walk, approximately at 10:30am.
The route is partially paved walking paths, some dirt and mostly loose pea gravel.
Strollers, wheelchairs and even wagons for the little ones are welcome.
For everyone’s safety, we cannot allow bikes, rollerblades, scooters or skateboards.
Each person walking a dog must pay a registration fee.
Friends and family without dogs are free. You may wish to purchase additional t-shirts for friends and family.
There is no rain date. The event will take place as scheduled. We will not be able to issue refunds.
