Tulsa SPCA Adoption Specials for “Couples” and Lonely Hearts

For the month of February we are offering half-off adoption fees for all our pets who are adopted as “couples”.  This includes dog couples, cat couples, and dog/cat couples.  We are also featuring our Lonely Hearts for half the regular adoption fee.  We would love to see many of our pets find their way into your heart and home this month.

 Lonely Hearts Featured:

 

No, these aren’t dogs and cats straight from the old Beatles tune, but they are special pets who have been with us long enough to qualify for the “club” or who may have special needs.

Our lonely hearts have lived at the SPCA for at least six months or have special needs such as a health consideration, tall fencing, or the like.

To encourage adoption of lonely hearts, we offer 50 percent off the regular adoption fee.

Lonely Hearts Club members may have been bypassed because they are shy or large or just don’t show as well as other adoptable pets.

Events for February:

Our cutest pet contest continues through February 29^th at Studio D.  Don’t miss out on a wonderful opportunity for a free pet sitting and for a donation of $10.00 get your pet’s 5X7 size photo professionally done.  There will be prizes for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners; please click here for more information.

On Saturday, February 11^th, we have several opportunities around town for you to enjoy and get ready for Valentine’s Day.

1. Whole Foods Market, located at 1401 East 41st, is having a Valentine Day Sampler Day.  These Valentine Samplers will be available for purchase and proceeds benefit the Tulsa SPCA.  From 11am to 3pm some of our Jog the Dog volunteers will be there with a few of our dogs to greet everyone, so come out, purchase a sampler, and love on a few of our dogs.
2. Coldwater Creek located at Woodland Hills Mall is having a fundraiser and has invited a few dogs to come and visit.  Some of our volunteers will be there to talk to you about the Tulsa SPCA, so stop by and meet some of our dogs, shop, and make a contribution to the Tulsa SPCA.
3. The Posh Pup Pet Boutique and Spa, located at8263 South Harvard Avenue, has invited the Tulsa SPCA volunteers to do a Valentine’s fundraiser.  For a small donation of $5.00 we are taking photos in a valentine setting, so bring your furry family member in to be surrounded by love and hearts for their 2012 Valentine photo opportunity.
