Prevention Meds

If your pet has been treated at the Tulsa SPCA low-cost veterinary clinic in the last year, you can now order flea and tick preventatives for curbside pick-up. If your dog has a current (less than one year) negative heartworm test from on file at the Tulsa SPCA vet clinic, you can also order heartworm preventative. To order prevention medications (flea/tick/heartworm), please email your name, your pet’s name, the meds you want and how many months/doses to clinicreception@tulsaspca.org. We will confirm your order, collect payment and schedule a time for you to pick up on a Monday or Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. during our Minor Needs Vet Clinic. NOTE: If your pet has not been treated at the Tulsa SPCA low-cost vet clinic in the last year, please make a Minor Needs appointment.

Preventative Care Clinic

The Tulsa SPCA Minor Needs Clinic provides low-cost wellness examinations, treats minor medical issues and provides diagnostics by appointment only. We are not an emergency veterinary clinic and there are some cases when we may refer you to another clinic. Please visit https://www.tulsaspca.org/preventative-care/ to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled Monday and Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Β NOTE: The Preventative Clinic is by scheduled appointment only; this is NOT first come, first served like our vaccine clinic. Each appointment incurs a $25 exam charge per animal. You will be seen by our veterinarian who will address minor issues your pet may be experiencing and provide more in-depth services than the basic administration of vaccines offered at our vaccine clinic.

Microchipping

The cost of a microchip is $10 per pet and ID tags are available for $5 each. The Tulsa SPCA uses two microchipping services. If you adopted your animal from the Tulsa SPCA, your chip is registered at https://www.24petwatch.com/. If your bought microchip services in our clinic, your chip is registered at https://www.foundanimals.org/.

Additional Services

The Tulsa SPCA is offering a variety of new services, including dental care and dental X-rays, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, chiropractic care, orthopedic surgeries, mass removal, bloodwork, and more. Visit https://www.tulsaspca.org/new-services/ to learn more.

Ginger is a 5 year old female Australian Shepherd who came to us as an owner surrender. This affectionate girl loves to carry her stuffies around, finding comfort in her plush companions, and she's happiest when she's close to someone who's willing to give her some love and attention.

Ginger can be a little shy while walking on leash. With a little patience and encouragement, we're sure Ginger will gain the confidence she needs to explore the world around her.

Bath time isn't her favorite, but she tolerates it like a champ! Her sweet, submissive personality makes her an easy-going companion. If you're looking for a loyal and loving furry friend who will happily curl up by your side, gender might be the perfect match for you.

Ginger is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on parasite prevention as well as microchipped!!
