Look for the Tulsa SPCA Mobile Medical Unit.
The minimum donation for heartworm testing and vaccination is $5 and includes a FREE microchip and ID tag. The Tulsa SPCA is able to provide free microchips and ID tags thanks to a generous grant from the Arnall Family Foundation Animal Welfare Fund. A grant from Arnall Family Foundation Animal Welfare Fund provided funds to do a vinyl wrap on the Mobile Medical Unit as well.
Dogs must be on leashes to participate in the event.
Appointments are first come, first served for up to 80 dogs. Those dogs will get heartworm testing plus DAPPV with leptospirosis and rabies vaccinations, plus a microchip and an ID tag.
