Little Thelma is a shy and confused as to how she ended up at the shelter with her siblings. She's never lived indoors before and is finding all the noise and commotion in the shelter quite overwhelming. She sometimes hides and other times barks at everything that goes by her kennel. Thelma is a dog in need of some confidence and routine to put her on the right path to successful indoor companion animal! A patient, kind and relaxed human who can slowly introduce her to the big world is exactly her style. Because of her fear, she is looking for a home without young children. She might be able to live with another friendly dog, but would need a slow introduction and a safe place to call her own for the first few weeks. She would do best in a quiet home, with a secure backyard. If you are the hero that Thelma needs apply today to foster or adopt her! We can't wait to see what a wonderful and loving dog she blossoms into! Thelma is 6 months old and only 16 lbs, so she will stay quite small! She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is current on parasite prevention. Visit tulsaspca.org/adoptable dogs to apply to adopt Thelma! If you are interested in fostering, visit tulsaspca.org/become-foster-parent ...
