Planned Giving

Thank you for your interest in including the Tulsa SPCA in your estate planning. Through a partnership with a local attorney, we are able to assist donors in understanding how to make a legacy gift. This is a free service to you. Your private and confidential conversation can help you plan for your family, your finances and philanthropy. For more information, contact Mindy Tiner, executive director of the Tulsa SPCA, at 918-428-7722.

Your decision to support us in this way will allow us to continue improving the lives of dogs and cats and engaging the community to foster mutual well-being. The animals in our care need agencies like ours to be their voice. They are part of our families and communities and are a great way to teach people, especially young people, to have compassion and empathy towards others. Legacy gifts are a vital part of our budget and impact the long-term health of our agency.
Thank you again for thinking of us. Your gift will help us save the lives of so many animals—and the humans they interact with.

Tulsa SPCA

This is Sheldon. Sheldon lived his life on a chain until his owner surrendered him to the Tulsa SPCA during the recent flooding. For the past three weeks, he’s been in one of our wonderful foster homes learning how to be a loved member of a family.

Sheldon loves grooming! He loves being brushed and comes to cuddle as soon as he sees a brush. His foster mom reports he recently realized he could jump up in bed with her. Once in bed, he army crawls until his nose finds her hand so he can fall asleep getting pet! In foster care, he learned how to ride comfortably in a car and stay in a crate during a regular working day.

To learn more about Sheldon, look for him on tulsaspca.org/adoptable-dogs. To become a foster parent, please learn more at tulsaspca.org/become-foster-parent.

How sweet! So glad he’s getting to live the life he deserves and not on a chain!!!!

I need some advice on crating from foster mom! We’ve been practicing for months. Positive reinforcement. She still doesn’t like it.

How sweet he is.

I wish Sam like to be groomed. All he has to do is see the brush come out, and he runs. I like Sheldon’s name by the way. 🐕❤️

WHY ON CHAIN,,WHY ???

Jackie Peart you need him
