Thank you for your interest in Tulsa SPCA‘s “Rescue Love” Pet Photo Contest and Calendar. Below is more information about each aspect of the initiative! To learn more about the contest, see below.

PET PHOTO CONTEST GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Contest will run from August 12 – September 15
  • Each entry is limited to one photo. Entries are $5 each
  • You may submit as many entries as you like, however only one entry per animal will be permitted in the calendar.
  • Only dogs and cats rescued in Oklahoma or adopted from an Oklahoma shelter or rescue may be submitted as an entry. No birds, rabbits, reptiles, farm animals, exotic pets or any other species are eligible for entry.
  • Entrants share their contest entry with their family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and via social media to solicit votes. Votes are $1 each.
  • Winners of the contest will be featured in our 2025 Rescue Love Calendar. But the real winners are the dogs and cats who found their fur-ever home!

1st Place Prize (1 winner)

  • Featured on the cover of the Tulsa SPCA “Rescue Love” 2025 Calendar
  • Featured on back cover of Tulsa SPCA “Rescue Love” 2025 Calendar by month
  • “Pet of the Month” placement in the Tulsa SPCA “Rescue Love” 2025 Calendar, your choice of month
  • Option to write a small story about their pet which will be featured on their month (max of 250 words)
  • “2025 Calendar Contest Winner” badge/ribbon displayed on their month
  • If the winning pet was rescued from a shelter or rescue organization other than Tulsa SPCA, up to $750 of the total vote earnings will be donated to that rescue or shelter organization
  • 1 free 2025 calendar
  • Recognition and promotion on Tulsa SPCA website and social media

2nd Place Prize (11 winners)

  • Featured on back cover of Tulsa SPCA “Rescue Love” 2025 Calendar by month
  • At least 3 Cats will be featured as “Pet of the Month” in the Tulsa SPCA 2025 Calendar
  • Option to write a small story about their pet which will be featured on their month (max of 150 words)
  • #2 of 11 – if rescued from a shelter or rescue organization other than Tulsa SPCA, up to $500 of the total vote earnings will be donated to that rescue or shelter organization
  • #3 of 11 – if rescued from a shelter or rescue organization other than Tulsa SPCA, up to $250 of the total vote earnings will be donated to that rescue or shelter organization
  • 1 free 2025 calendar

3rd Place Prizes (20 winners)

  • Your submitted pet photo will be shown in a photo collage in the Tulsa SPCA “Rescue Love” 2025 Calendar

Sponsor-a-Day Option
Sponsor-a-Day’s are available for the 2025 Tulsa SPCA Rescue Love calendar! Honor your pet on its birthday or “gotcha” day. Sponsor a day as a memorial to a pet that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge or create brand awareness for your company by adding its logo to a calendar day. Sponsor-a-Day’s cost $25 text only; $50 for text and a photo/logo.

Footer Sponsors
Every month in the calendar has a footer space for advertising. You must supply your own artwork. Footers are available at the following rates:

  • ¼ footer = $250
  • ½ footer = $500
  • ¾ footer = $750
  • Full footer = $1,000
