Trivia Night Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How to I play online trivia?

Pranks & Paws Trivia Night is an online event this year. We strongly suggest to log on to the Zoom event 15 minutes prior to ensure there are no technical difficulties before we begin. Login information will be sent to your Team Captain a few days before.

There are two ways your team can enjoy Pranks & Paws Trivia Night this year:

  1. Gather your team together and play in person.

We will send your Team Captain a link to the Zoom event. Your team can gather together and play in the same location. Your Team Captain will be responsible for texting your team’s final answers to the host.

  1. Identify the best way to communicate with your team and play in separate locations.

We will send a link to the Zoom event to your Team Captain, who will share it with the rest of the team. Each team member can view the Zoom event in separate locations. Identify the best way to communicate with your team during the event (we recommend FaceTime, Group Chat or Google Hangout). Your Team Captain will be responsible for texting your team’s final answers to the host.

Q: I want to donate to the event. Who do I get in touch with?

Q: What is a wine pull?

For a donation of $20, we will pull a wrapped bottle of wine from a selection of high quality, medium range and inexpensive wines. You will have the opportunity to win a high quality bottle of wine for a cheap price but everyone will walk away with at least one bottle of wine.

Q: What is a restaurant gift card pull?

For a donation of $25, we will pull a gift card from a selection of local Tulsa restaurants. Every restaurant gift card is valued at a minimum of $25.

Q: How will I bid on items for the auction?

Approximately one week prior to the event, the event bidding site will go live on https://event.gives/pranksandpaws! Watch for details on our website, your email and our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!

Q: Do I have to participate in Pranks & Paws Trivia Night to bid on items in the silent auction?

No! While we’d love to have you join us the night of the event, you can still bid on items without attending the event. Just visit our event bidding site at https://event.gives/pranksandpaws approximately one week prior to the event.

Q: How will I submit my answers on the night of the event?

Each team will have 1 team captain responsible for texting answers to our event host. Additional details will be given prior to the event including the phone number answers must be submitted to. If you have a specific question or concern, please reach out to us at giving@tulsaspca.org.

Q: What do I get if I win?

Bragging rights and a cute trophy to showcase your mastery of knowledge! We will reach out to you after the event to coordinate delivery of the trophy.

Q: What do you do with the money raised at Pranks & Paws Trivia Night?

All funds raised during our Pranks & Paws Trivia Night fundraiser are used to continue our mission of improving the lives of dogs and cats and their human companions. What does that mean?
