Visiting the Tulsa SPCA Facility

  • Your dog must be on a leash and/or your cat must be in a carrier.
  • Please drive through the front gate at 2910 Mohawk Blvd. to park. Do NOT use our back gate.
  • Review the specific instructions below for each of our services.

 

ADOPTION CENTER
  • To view our adoptable pets, enter the main door of the shelter.
  • As some of our animals are currently in foster care, we encourage you to fill out an application online prior to coming to the shelter for pets you are interested in meeting.  Upon approval of your application, we can coordinate a time for the dog or cat to come back to the shelter for a meet and greet and/or adoption.
  • If you are visiting us outside of normal hours of operation for veterinary clinics, please consider bringing medical records for your personal pets if you wish to leave with an adopted animal that day.

 

SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC
  • Park and come inside to pick up your paperwork and then return to your car to fill it out.
  • Once your paperwork is complete, you may enter the facility with your pet.
  • Your dog must be on a leash.
  • Cats must be in carriers. If your cat does not have a carrier, we will sell you a cardboard version for $6.
  • As soon as an employee is available, we will complete the check-in process.
  • Cats must be in appropriate carriers. Only one cat per carrier for surgical appointments. Please see examples of carriers at the bottom of this webpage. If you do not have a carrier, we will sell you one for $6.

 

PREVENTATIVE CARE CLINIC
  • Enter the facility with your pet at the time of appointment.
  • As soon as an employee is available, we will check you in.
  • Your dog must be on a leash.
  • Cats must be in appropriate carriers. Only one cat per carrier for surgical appointments. Please see examples of carriers at the bottom of this webpage. If you do not have a carrier, we will sell you one for $6.

 

LOW-COST VACCINATION CLINIC
  • Stay inside your vehicle and a staff member will place a number on your windshield and give you paperwork to complete.
  • A staff member will notify you when it is your turn to enter the facility.
  • Tell us immediately if your animal is friendly.
  • Your dog must be on a leash.
  • Cats must be in appropriate carriers. Only one cat per carrier for surgical appointments. Please see examples of carriers at the bottom of this webpage. If you do not have a carrier, we will sell you one for $6.
  • Once you have completed your appointment, you will exit through the back gate.
